Meet the Team!

Zarah loves to problem solve and think outside the box, which is how she landed the role of business manager and president at It’s Love and its media affiliates. Zarah adores chai tea and chocolate, and is happily married with 2 cute and quirky young daughters. Her girls love weddings so much that they have become a regular feature at staff meetings and photo shoots! It’s safe to say a love of weddings runs in the family. When Zarah isn’t working on the magazine, she can be found baking cupcakes with her girls or attempting to revive her out-dated German skills by reading their German books from school.

Raised on a farm just outside of Stonewall by two teachers happily married for going on 38 years, Lauren’s early love for reading and writing brought her to the perfect role as Editorial Director for It’s Love. As a wedding fanatic, she is unashamed to tell you she’s obsessed with flowers, colour, and patterns—especially polka dots and stripes. Lauren is a checklist maker, a home décor enthusiast, and completely consumed with the beauty of flipping pages in a magazine. Her favourite date night is when her hubby cooks for her.

Ashley has known she was going to pursue a career in graphic design since junior high, when she designed her first magazine. It may or may not have featured Christina Aguilera on the cover, but since graduating from Advanced Graphic Design from Red River College, her talents have made her well recognized. She is a constant list maker, Post-It writer, and colour coder, and with a sister who designs wedding cakes, her apartment is brimming with bridal magazines. As Creative Director, she designs, creates, and crafts everything that you see on It’s Love.

Since she was little, Meghan has had a love for words and kept her nose firmly stuck in a book. She is proudly a complete believer in marriage, and combining her love for writing and her love for marriage makes her job at It’s Love a dreamy place to work. She married her high school sweetheart, Brett, this past summer. Meghan celebrates the little things, and believes in starting small and working hard, getting a little extra help from a cup of black coffee every single morning.
