Colour Palette Friday: Rustic Purple and Green

The rustic wedding style has really become popular over the last year, and we know it's going to continue for the next few years. Why? It's easy: typical colour palettes are pretty and natural, flowers are fresh and organic, food is homemade and delicious, and the details are delightfully natural. I myself am a farm girl, so the idea of a ceremony in front of a silo marked with hanging florals, or gorgeous bark or birch logs used in centrepieces and aisle decor just gets me in fit of fabulousness.

While a rustic wedding can feature many colour schemes, I am really loving this purple and green - first off, you need the green because it will make everything feel lush and natural. The addition of deep purples will offset the bark accents, and add a luxurious element to anything it touches.
